The Securities and Exchange Commission-Bacolod extension office has new operating hours and offering additional services, its public information officer, Clyde Padilla, said.
She said the new operating hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday starting October 5, while on Fridays, drop boxes will be placed outside the office premises for reports and other documents to be submitted.
This is in pursuit of providing relevant public service and ease of doing business in Negros, she added.
Moreover, clients can also avail of additional services at the extension office, like processing of the application for registration of one person corporation, corporations with less than five incorporators, application for amendments of the articles of incorporation and by-laws, and increase of capital, she said.
Clients applying for a new registration through the Company Registration System may now submit their documents at SEC Bacolod for facilitation, she said.
Other services are payment of annual fees for lending and financing companies, receiving of reportorial requirements mandated by law such as but not limited to the general information sheet, financial statements, general forms for financial statements, issuance of certified true copies of articles of incorporation, by-laws, certificate of registration, other certifications and plain copies of other SEC-related documents, assistance in the company registration system for new applicants;
Free lectures on the anti-investment scam, pertinent laws, and memorandum circulars relevant to lending and financing companies and other related laws and updates issued by the commission, selling of the book-bound stock and transfer books and membership book and other forms, Padilla said.*
