Diano’s winning piece was a diorama of three-dimensional custom-build Marvel and DC superheroes where he bagged 14 awards and the best of show, making him the overall champion.

Most of his entries were custom builds made of recyclable materials that stood out among other entries in the competition.

Some of his creations are also exported to other countries after being posted and discovered online. His clients, mostly artists abroad, paved the way for him to earn during this time of the pandemic, the press release said.

Diano said that in a competition, there will always be a time to shine, so one just have to continue his passion. He added he is hopeful that his recognition will put the city in the spotlight and become an avenue for other artists to enhance their potentials, show off their creativity, and gain support.*
