The San Carlos City Police Station received a brand new patrol vehicle, equipped with accessories on June 28, in line with Mayor Renato Gustilo’s aim to further improve the mobility of the local police in the delivery of public safety services.

Gustilo said the brand new 4×4 Toyota Hi-Lux vehicle is equipped with fabricated housing, police signal lights and blinkers, medicine cabinets, grab handles and front winch, that is capable of pulling 8,000 pounds objects.

A 4×2 similar vehicle was also purchased by the city government of San Carlos for the City Environment Management Office, Gustilo added.

Another brand new sweeper truck, worth P7.9 million, was also purchased by the city government, for use in cleaning the streets of San Carlos City.

The truck has a sweep-vacuum capable of absorbing garbage, that is automatically loaded to its dustbin, and capable of ejecting water that will reduce dust generation during its sweeping operation.*
