Central Negros Electric Cooperative acting general manager Danny Pondevilla was elected vice president for the Visayas of the National Association of General Managers of Electric Cooperatives.
Pondevilla , who is also the general manager of the Northern Negros Electric Cooperative, was elected with Allan Laniba of the Leyte Electric Cooperative III as president.
General managers Edwin Garcia of Sorsogon 1 Electric Cooperative and Godofredo Homez of the Cotabato Electric Cooperative Inc. were also elected VPs for Luzon and Visayas, respectively.
The newly elected officers of NAGMEC were inducted recently by Secretary Karlo Alexei Nograles during the association’s 24th convention, attended by 121 general managers nationwide, PowerBloc representatives, and other advocates from the energy sector.*
