Three more drug suspects were arrested by the police in the cities of Silay and Himamaylan in Negros Occidental, with about P50,000 worth of suspected shabu and its paraphernalia.

Justin Lobaton and Mecaila Robles, both categorized by the police as Street Level Target drug personalities, were apprehended by the police during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Paradise, Brgy. Rizal, Silay City, yesterday.

The arrest of Lobaton and Robles, both residents of the barangay, yielded seven grams of suspected shabu worth P47,600 and P3,500 in buy-bust money, including P500 in marked money, as well as two disposable lighters.

A day earlier, a construction worker and a drug suspect were also apprehended by the police, who responded to a stabbing incident in Sitio Batang, Brgy. Talaban, Himamaylan City.

Himamaylan police investigation showed that Rogiel Testa, 21, and a construction worker, figured in a heated argument with the victim, Hansatol Magbato, that led to the stabbing incident.

Testa immediately escaped with the help of Bernie John Moles on board a tricycle.

Policemen intercepted Testa and Moles in Crossing Talaban, Himamaylan City.

The police also recovered 0.25 gram of suspected shabu, with a market value of P1,700 and its paraphernalia from Moles, while suspected shabu placed in a back pack was taken from Testa.

Both are now detained at the custodial facility of the Himamaylan City Police Station.*
