It will be a compact tournament for the PBA Clark bubble with daily double-headers in the eliminations before shifting to the league’s regular Wednesday/Friday/Sunday schedule for the playoffs.

All personalities in the bubble are required to strictly observe the health protocols and guidelines that will include wearing of facemasks at all times during the games, except those 10 players on the floor and the three referees officiating the game.

High-fives, fist-bumps and the likes are common sights during the game. But these will be discouraged to further protect the safety of the bubble play.

As of press time, NLEX and Blackwater have joined the three teams that entered the bubble Monday.

All 12 teams are expected to in today, with the PBA Commissioner’s Office team joining them by Oct. 7 and league commissioner Willie Marcial on Oct. 9, two days before the restart of the Season 45 Philippine Cup on Oct. 11 at the AUF Gym.

Upon entry in the bubble, no one is allowed to exit except upon the elimination of any ball club. Illegal exit will draw stiff sanction, including a P100,000 fine.

All personalities will be locked down in Clark for about two months and a half without receiving guests for the entirety of the tournament.

“Quest Hotel will be exclusive to the PBA. No one outside the bubble will be allowed entry,” said BCDA chief Vince Hizon in a press conference coinciding with the arrival of teams on Day 2 of the bubble.

Each member of the ball clubs went through a strict arrival protocol. All the teams have had their swab test prior to departing for Clark.*pba.ph
