The Bacolod City government of Bacolod is reminding property owners to pay their taxes in advance or before Dec. 20 for the full year or for the first two quarters to avail of the 20 percent discount.
Property owners may pay their taxes at the ground floor of the Ayala Capitol Central Mall between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays to Sundays.
They may also directly pay at the Land Tax Division of the City Treasurer’s Office at the Bacolod Government Center between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Both payment centers will not be open on Christmas Day.
Bacolod Mayor Evelio Leonardia also ordered earlier all barangay captains to install their own offsite tables at the Ayala Capitol Central Mall for the conduct of the one-stop-shop business registration for the processing and renewal of permits, that will run from January 4 to March 31 next year. In his Executive Order Number 79, Leonardia mandated the barangay captains to assign at least two personnel for their tables, who will be in-charge of the processing of business permits.*
