The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Office No. VI is inviting jobseekers in Western Visayas to register in the job search and get a chance to be hired in the Labor Day online job fair on May 1.
In partnership with mynimo.com, the initiative was developed to provide applicants with easy and convenient access to the job market during this time of crisis, a press release from DOLE said.
“We understand the need of the workers to find a job amidst the pandemic. Without compromising their safety, we develop this initiative to allow them to apply and find jobs even if they are at home,” DOLE RO No. VI Regional Director Cyril Ticao said.
Opportunities await candidates who are looking for a career in Western Visayas, or for those who wish to advance or change their career. It is also open to jobseekers, who are out of work and are seeking for job search advice.
Interested parties can avail of free online registration through https://www.mynimo.com/dole6applicants.
Once registered, the applicants can submit an updated resume and may have a chance to browse companies and agencies that are hiring for full time and work from home positions. The applicants’ pre-employment requirements assistance from different national government agencies can also be availed of.*
