NOLITC to hold free webinars

The provincial government-run Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center will hold a series of webinars starting this month until October to upskill the capacities of Negrenses amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The webinar will kick off today with “Digital Literacy”, from 1 to 5 p.m. The training is set until tomorrow, and the resource speaker will be digital literacy trainer John Philip Bautista.

The next topics will be “Introduction to Drawing Technique” on September 9, and “Introduction to Graphic Design” on Sept. 10.

On September 16, there will be trainings on “Introduction to Vector Graphics” and “Pencil Rendering” the next day.

“Design Thinking Process” will be tackled on September 23, “Basic Figure Drawing” on September 24, and “Quick Sketch and Pose” on September 30.

On October 1, “Photo Manipulation using Raster Application” will be discussed while “Layout Design” will be tackled on October 7.

Talk on “Introduction to Product Design and Packaging” will be held on October 8, “Basic Video Editing” on October 14, and “Develop Design for Print Media” on October 15.

NOLITC said that digital certificates will be released within one to two weeks after the training.*
