BY GILBERT P. BAYORAN

Another wave of minor reshuffling among police chiefs in Negros Occidental took effect yesterday with the simultaneous turnover of command ceremonies held at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.

Named as officer-in-charge of the Murcia Police Station was P/Lt. John Paul Tabujara. He replaced Maj. Roberto Dejucos, who is now assigned at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr., pending the announcement of his new assignment.

Tabujara, a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy, used to be the deputy police chief of the Kabankalan City Police Station.

Maj. John Ganzon, former Ilog police chief, replaced Maj. James Latayon as Hinigaran police officer-in-charge.

Latayon is now the OIC of the Sipalay City Police Station. He succeeded Lt. Col. Necerato Sabando, who was reassigned to Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. headquarters.

Col. Romy Palgue, provincial police director of Negros Occidental, assisted by his deputy, Lt. Col. Eduardo Corpuz, the concurrent police chief of Victorias City, presided over the simultaneous turnover of command ceremonies.

Palgue commended Dejucos, Latayon and Sabando for jobs well done in their previous assignments.

Late last month, the municipalities of Candoni, Moises Padilla, Pontevedra and Toboso also got new police chiefs.*
