NegOcc under MGCQ until Dec. 31 – Lacson

BY GILBERT P. BAYORAN

Negros Occidental will remain under the Modified General Community Quarantine status until the end of 2020.

Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson signed an executive order yesterday, extending the MGCQ status of Negros Occidental until Dec. 31.

Air and sea travel will also resume, with mandated health protocols to be strictly observed, the EO added.

For each airline company, there will be one flight per week for Bacolod-Cebu-Bacolod, and twice a week Bacolod-Manila-Bacolod flights.

Each airline company will be allowed 199 passengers per flight. However, there will be flight moratorium on Dec. 24 and 25, and Dec. 31 to Jan. 1 next year.

On sea travel, each shipping company will be allowed to accommodate 150 passengers per day, the EO said.

Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APORs) are required to present identification card, APOR certificate upon entry and when required during inspection, file health information form, and submit to RT-PCR swab. Non-APORs are required to present travel authority, notice of coordination from the local government of destination, notice to border control, with private shuttle or vehicle to be allowed.*GPB
