NegOcc reports 264 active Covid cases

The Covid-19 active cases in Negros Occidental rose further to 264 as March 21, an increase in the  32 cases three days ago, which was 232, a report of the Provincial Incident Management Team said.

La Carlota City leads the 31 local government units in Negros Occidental, except the highly urbanized Bacolod City, with having the most number of active cases, with 29, followed by 27 of San Carlos City, and 19 of Sagay City.

The municipalities of Don Salvador Benedicto and Candoni are the two LGUs with zero active cases, PIMT report also said.

From its lowest of 58 in February, Covid-19 active cases increased by 206 in less than a month, after reaching 264 as of March 21.

From March 27 last year to March 21,2021, Negros Occidental had 7,169 Covid 19 confirmed cases, of which 6,687 already recovered, with 218 deaths.

Bacolod City, meanwhile has 104 active cases.*
