Seven police commissioned officers assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office got new assignments, as part of the reshuffling implemented by NOCPPO director, P/Col. Romy Palgue.

Lt. Col. Norberto Barniso, chief of the Human Rights Affairs Office of NOCPPO, is now the officer-in-charge of the Cauayan Police Station. He swapped posts with Lt. Col. Lowell Garinganao, effective yesterday, P/Lt. Abegael Donasco, deputy spokesperson of NOCPPO, said.

Lt. Col. Rollie Pondevilla was designated OIC of the Calatrava Police Station, replacing P/Maj. Roberto Indiape, who is now assigned at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.

P/Capt. Ellendie Rebusquillo also assumed command of the Binalbagan Police Station, replacing Maj. Ferdinand Soblingo, who was assigned as deputy of the Provincial Operations Management Unit.

P/Lt. Col. Mark Evan Salvo, from the Iloilo City Police Office, was designated as head of the Provincial Administrative and Resource Management Unit, Donasco said.

The reshuffling of PCOs occupying key positions is aimed at avoiding familiarity with the positions that may affect the performance of the concerned police units, after reaching the maximum prescribed tenure, she added.*
