Busy, busy LGBTQ+ SB Mark Vargas advocates beauty wherever he goes. From personal appearances in Ilog’s Barang-gay friendly activities, he manages to make everybody smile. Now, he discovers male talents from Ilog with an advocacy loving Nature and caring for all. They will be role models for the young people of Ilog in the path towards greening our Mother Earth. With activities like mangrove planting to trees in local campus, all take part in discovering and promoting Ilog Natural Sites from waterfalls, forest, mountain and other tourism potentials.

I’m so proud of Mark V and hope that we have more like him in all of our island’s LGUs. Being gay is no longer negative since it leads into sustainable, diverse, beautiful and happy lives. When it comes to the rights of LGBTQ humans, the UN is anything but neutral. To realise a world of equality and dignity for all, for example, our youth accept gayness with nonchalance today. They even go further by emphasising the human aspect of the word gay.

Of course, you’re supposed to cringe when you hear the word “agîîî” and why this derogatory tone to it. Well, I’ll give you a break for now with a treat of a pictorial gay-friendly Ilog initiative called Quarantine Boys. Enjoy your Holy Week and don’t mingle. Pray that this pandemic ends soon and we’ll all go our merry ways…*

My Prayer: We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. John 5:20, NIV
