Businessman Leo Rey Yanson was reappointed chairman of the Board and president of Ceres Liner Travel and Tours Inc. (CLTTI), during its annual stockholders’ meeting yesterday at its principal office in Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod City.

A press statement from the camp of Leo Rey also said that matriarch Olivia Yanson was re-appointed CLTTI corporate secretary and treasurer.

During the meeting, Olivia and Leo Rey, Ginnette and Charles Dumancas, Anita Chua, Arvin John Villaruel, and Daniel Nicolas Golez were re-elected members of the CLLTI Board of Directors.

It added that despite due notice, stockholders Roy Yanson, Ma. Lourdes Celina Yanson-Lopez, and Ricardo Yanson Jr. were absent.

Despite the challenges faced in 2020, LRY said the Yanson Group of Bus Companies remains committed to provide the riding public with the most reliable means of public transportation. LRY was also reappointed earlier as chairman of the Board and president of Vallacar Transit Inc., with the Yanson matriarch as corporate secretary and treasurer.*
