Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental yesterday opened its Business One-Stop Shop (BOSS) to speed up the processing time for renewal of business permits and licensing.
The BOSS is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays to Fridays until Jan. 31, at the back of City Hall, an advisory posted on the city government’s Facebook page said.
The BOSS will give entrepreneurs the opportunity to transact with concerned agencies and offices, including the Bureau of Fire Protection, City Health Office, City Planning and Development Office, and City Tourism Office, to secure necessary documents for their application.
BPLO officer Nelly Ilao said applicants for new business permit should submit a business clearance, residence certificate, filled-up business form application that is available from the barangay where the business is located, a photocopy of single proprietorship certificate from the Department of Trade and Industry or a permit for corporation from the Securities and Exchange Commission.*
