An Indian national is now under police custody, after his vehicle figured in an accident on June 15 in Sitio Medina Eco-Translink Highway in Brgy. Rizal, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, that claimed the life of a motorcycle driver.
The victim, identified as Rodemar Dayanan, 25, was declared dead on arrival at the San Carlos Doctors Hospital because of serious physical injuries, the city police said.
Police investigations showed that the Toyota Innova vehicle of Sukhjit Singh Sidhu, 32, an Indian national, figured in a collision with the Honda 125cc motorcycle of Dayanan, a lending company collector, that was running in the opposite direction.
Sidhu suffered minor injuries and underwent a medical checkup before he was placed under the custody of the San Carlos City Police Station.*
