Good news for healthcare workers and Authorized Persons Outside Residence in Negros Occidental.
The Vallacar Transit Inc., that manages Ceres Liner passenger buses, offers free rides for healthcare workers and APORs for the whole month of June.
VTI Media Relations Officer Jade Seballos said yesterday that the company will dispatch 25 passenger buses to provide free rides, as the response of VTI president and chief executive officer, Leo Rey Yanson, to a memorandum circular issued by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, under the service contracting program.
Seballos said that APORs and healthcare workers may avail of free rides with routes Bacolod to Victorias-Cadiz-Escalante and San Carlos City in the north, Bacolod to Ma-ao-San Carlos City- Kabankalan and Hinobaan in the south, and also within Bacolod City. APORs and healthcare workers only have to present their identification cards, and wear face masks and shields when boarding Ceres Liner passenger buses with “Libreng Sakay” tarpaulins.*
