Anti-drug operatives of the Bacolod City Police Office arrested five persons and recovered suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P176,800 in four buy-bust operations recently.

At about 7 p.m. on Thursday, Angela Campus, 36, sold a sachet of suspected shabu, worth P300 to a poseur-buyer during the operation in Purok Kabugwason, Barangay Mansilingan, the police said.

Earlier at 5:30 p.m., Baby Girl Villarna, 32, was arrested by the drug enforcement team of Police Station 2 in Purok Kagaykay, Barangay 2.

Operatives of Police Station 5 also arrested Ron Calderon, 31, in Cottage Road, Barangay Mansilingan.

Calderon, also an SLI, sold a sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer and yielded four more sachets of the illegal drug, weighing more than two grams and with an estimated market value of P24,000 and non-drug items.

On Jan. 24, two personalities were arrested by the city drug enforcement team in Purok Langis, Barangay Banago.

They were identified as Gicelle Pilaro, an SLI, and Jerome Altarios, both residents of the area.

At about 11:30 p.m., the poseur-buyer purchased P500 worth of shabu from the suspects while the operatives recovered seven sachets containing the same prohibited substance and weighing 15 grams with a value of P102,000.
