Two suspected drug peddlers were arrested by the police in the cities of Bacolod and Cadiz in Negros Occidental Tuesday, that yielded more than P41,000 worth of suspected shabu.
Police Station 8 operatives nabbed Fellix Pahamutang during a buy-bust operation in Purok Pag-asa, Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City.
Pahamutang, 37, is listed by the police as a street level individual drug personality. The operation yielded 4.6 grams of suspected shabu, with a market value of P38,000, and P1,000 in marked money, the police said.
Another suspected drug peddler was arrested in Purok Bolinao, Brgy. Zone 6, Cadiz City.
Roque Jimenez, alias Rex, 40, of the place, was nabbed with 19 sachets of suspected shabu, worth P3,400, and P500 in marked money. Jimenez is now detained at the Cadiz City police custodial facility, pending the filing of charges against him for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.*
