The number of Covid-infected police personnel in Region 6 rose to 128 as of June 13, compared to 84 a week ago, the PNP Health Service reported.
But the infected personnel of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office reduced to 20 from 27, and five to two cases at the Bacolod City Police Office in the same period, the report added.
NOCPPO also logged three recoveries.
The Aklan PPO now has the most number of infected personnel at 39, followed by the Iloilo PPO with 23 infected cases.
The PNP Health Service also reported 18 new cases on June 13. Aklan and Iloilo PPOs have seven each, and zero cases for both the NOCPPO and BCPO.
Of the 777 confirmed cases, including the 44 assigned at the PNP National Support Units stationed at Camp Martin Delgado in Iloilo City, 613 have already recovered, with two deaths, and 128 active infections. As of Sunday, only 398 of the 13,181 personnel of the Police Regional Office 6 and 30 others assigned at NSUs have been vaccinated, the report added.*
