Another police non-commissioned officer in Negros Occidental tested positive for Covid-19.
This was confirmed yesterday by PLt. Abegael Donasco, deputy spokesperson of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, who also disclosed that the police officer, assigned in a northern Negros police station is “asymptomatic”.
This brought to 42 the number of police personnel and non-uniformed personnel of NOCPPO who tested positive of Covid-19,since last year.
Donasco said that 41 others have already fully recovered from the virus infection.
She also said that more than 2,000 NOCPPO cops considered as front liners have been listed for inclusion in the Covid-19 vaccination.
More than 600 Army soldiers of the 3rd Infantry Division had been vaccinated as of this time, regional Army spokesperson Maj. Cenon Pancito III said.*
