Employees of the provincial government of Negros Occidental will start receiving their additional benefits starting today, like the Productivity Enhancement Incentive, worth P5,000, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said yesterday.
Diaz said they will also receive additional cash incentives, by way of the Collective Negotiation Agreement bonus, as well as the Incentive Benefit for Exemplary Services (IBES) starting Tuesday next week.
He, however, refused to reveal the total amount of incentives to be received by regular and casual employees, saying that it will be Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson who will announce it.
Capitol employees already received their 13th and 14th month pay in May and November, and cash bonus of P5,000 early this month.
On Wednesday, Lacson refused to reveal the total cash incentives to be received by each Capitol employee, stressing, “I don’t want to sell it to the lenders”. Diaz also said that the provincial government of Negros Occidental will find a way of also giving something to job order employees, who are not entitled to the benefits received by regular and casual employees.*
