Rape charges were filed before the Bacolod City Prosecutor’s Office Tuesday against a partially blind masseur, who allegedly made sexual advances on his client.

Station 4 commander, P/Major Jun Ray Batadlan, said yesterday that the suspect, 49, of Brgy. Mansilingan, Bacolod and whose name the police withheld, was arrested Sunday on the complaints of his client.

The victim, 26, claimed that she asked the suspect to go to her house in a subdivision in Brgy. Villamonte to massage her because she wants to bear a child.

But while the massage was ongoing, she said the suspect inserted his finger in her private part.

The suspect denied the accusations against him and told the media that he did not touch or insert his finger in her private part.

He claimed that he even asked permission from her first if he could massage her thighs, and she agreed.

The suspect said he has been working as a masseur since 1995 and this is the first time that he has been accused of sexually assaulting a client.*
