The city government of Bago has acquired new vehicles, worth P12.8 million, that will be used for its delivery of services to the constituency.

Mayor Nicholas Yulo and Vice Mayor Ramon Torres led the blessing and turnover of the four new vehicles yesterday, and the event was attended by Councilor Joszef Mark Dexter Somcio, General Services officer Leo Pahilanga, City Veterinarian Dr. Martin SM Torres, and Dr. Merijene Ortizo of the LDRRMO, a press release from the city said.

Turned over were one brand new flat nose double cab 4×4 for the use of the City Veterinary Office, a boom truck for the GSO, one van for information, education campaign activities, and two high roof emergency trauma vehicles for use of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

The City also restored the Komatsu dozer of the City Engineer’s Office that was turned over the same day.

More Bagonhons will benefit with these new assets of the city government, Yulo said. “Through these, we can intensify and sustain our programs, thereby boosting our services to Bagonhons,” he added.*
