Operatives of Bacolod City police seized P63,000 worth of suspected shabu in three separate buy-bust operations in Baranggays27, Mansilingan and Singcang-Airport Tuesday and Wednesday.

Station 7 commander P/Lt. Michael Tuburan said they conducted a buy -bust operation at about 6:25 p.m. Tuesday at Cottage Road in Prk. Paglaum, Brgy. Mansilingan and recovered three heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu worth P40,800 and weighing about 6 grams.

Tuburan said the operation also resulted to the arrest of Robert Dela Cruz, alias “MukundaTundag y Puno/Mukie”, 40, and Tina Noela Dumancas, 52, both of Jackfruit Street and Jason Gawan, 19, of Home for the Blind, all in Purok Paglaum.

He said the trio were arrested after one of them handed to a police poseur buyer a sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P500.

The police also recovered an improvised glass tooter with visible traces of suspected shabu and a disposable lighter among others during the suspects’ arrest, Tuburan said.

P/Major Jun Ray Batadlan, station commander of police station 4 also reported the arrest of Jeoffrey De Asis at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday in Brgy. 27.

De Asis, 43, of Purok Masanag 1 in the barangay, was apprehended after he handed to a police poseur buyer an elongated sachet of suspected shabu in exchange for P500, Batadlan said.

Four additional elongated sachets of suspected shabu weighing approximately 1.5 grams and valued at P10,200 were recovered from the suspect following his arrest, he added.

More than an hour later, Station 8 policemen arrested Romel Ablegada, 29, near his residence at Purok 6 Litub, Sitio Magsungay in Brgy. Singcang-Airport in a buy-bust operation.

Some eight sachets of suspected shabu weighing 1.5 grams worth P12,000 and P200 in cash were recovered from him during his arrest, Station 8 commander P/Major Joery Puerto, said. Last week, the Bacolod City Police also seized P1.7 million worth of suspected shabu from various suspects.*
