Panasiatic Call Centers Inc. in Bacolod City announced that its 200 agents tested negative for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Siony Hijara-Ferraris, site director and general manager of Panasiatic, yesterday said their agents and other employees who have volunteered to undergo rapid test since June all tested negative.

She recalled that the management had announced the possible case of COVID-19 involving a trainee and immediately followed company safety and health protocols.

Ferraris said the RT-PCR test conducted by the City Health Office on the 23-year-old female trainee on July 27 showed that she tested positive for COVID-19. However, she is now recovering.

Panasiatic has set in place another layer of health and safety protocols to protect its employees and their families, she said.

They mobilized their managers and ICT team to install a seamless contact tracing system which can be accessed via web and mobile devices. Employees can log-in and report their health situation and that of their families, she said.*
