There are now 24 police personnel of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, who have tested positive for Covid-19, provincial police deputy spokesperson, Lt. Abegael Donasco, said yesterday.
This was after two more PNP members assigned in two police stations were infected by the virus.
Of the 136 infected with Covid, 112 have recovered, Donasco said. A total of 144 of the 149 police officers assigned at the Bacolod City Police Office also recovered from Covid-19, the PNP Health Service said.*
