Stations 6 and 8 policemen arrested two men in buy-bust operations in barangays 31 and Singcang-Airport in Bacolod City yesterday and Wednesday, and seized P38,000 worth of suspected shabu.

The police identified the suspects as Joel Juele, 35, of Purok Cereza, Brgy. 27, and Jhil Valespin, 39, of Purok Sampaguita 3 in Brgy. Singcang Airport.

P/Major Leo Estopa, Station 6 chief, said that Juele was arrested at about 10 a.m. yesterday in his rented room in a lodge at Lopez-Jaena Street in Brgy. 31, after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer for P500.

Estopa said his men recovered 11 additional sachets of suspected shabu, weighing about 3.5 grams and valued at P23,000, from Juele after his arrest.

At about 10 p.m. Wednesday, Station 8 policemen arrested Valespin for selling a sachet of suspected shabu, also to a poseur buyer.

Station 8 commander, P/Major Joery Puerto, said five sachets of suspected shabu, valued at P15,000, were seized from Valespin, who is a sidewalk vendor.
